While I’m not a fan of the live action Queen of Hearts (her giant head was a little too freaky for me) I always thought the original from Disney’s animated Alice in Wonderland was such a fun villain. She’s just the right combo of mean, crazy and humorous — creating a not-to-scary character with a concerning love for decapitation.

For this moodboard, I captured the intense personality and sharp mood changes of the Queen through dynamic imagery and textures. Stuck to a classic black, white and red palette with foreboding splatters and angles to mimic her dark intentions. ❤️🌹
